Biography:
Councilman Hogan (R-C), is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College , State University of New York at Cortland and participated in SUNY Cortland's semester abroad program in London , England .
Councilman Hogan was the Executive Director of the Colonie Youth Center, Inc. from 1983 - 2007. The Colonie Youth Center is a non-profit organization that provides the young people of Colonie with recreation, school-age childcare and counseling services.
Councilman Hogan's duties at a Town Board Member include being part of the legislative, appropriating, governing, and policy-determining body of the Town. He assists in appoints all non-elected officers and employees of the Town. Councilman Hogan also acts on the budget recommended by the Town Supervisor as well as approving budget modifications or transfers. Creates non-compensatory advisory boards and, along with the Supervisor, appoints their members.
