The Town of Colonie Comprehensive Plan, adopted in 2005, calls for a 5 to 10 year review of the plan. The objective of the review is to assess implementation progress and to recommend changes to the Plan, if needed.
The Town has put together a Comprehensive Plan Review Committee consisting of residents, businessmen, Town Board members, and several department heads. The members of this committee have begun the review process.
The committee is seeking input from residents and others who would like to voice their opinion.
If you are interested in voicing your thoughts, concerns, or support for the 2005 Town of Colonie Comprehensive Plan, please send an e-mail to compplan@colonie.org. You may also mail your comments to the Town of Colonie Comprehensive Plan Review Committee, c/o Town of Colonie Building Department, 347 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, 12110-2290. The committee will consider all comments that contain names and contact information.
